R.M.Williams announces return of popular Wayville Sale, after three year hiatus

R.M.Williams is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated Wayville Sale event, its biggest yet, which is set to take place at the Adelaide Showground from Friday 11 April to Tuesday 22 April, 2025.

This iconic event, which was last held in 2022, promises incredible deals on a wide range of R.M.Williams products, including boots, clothing, and accessories.

Visitors to the sale can look forward to savings as they stock their wardrobes, including rare discounts on the brand’s iconic leather boots. These offers won’t be seen anywhere else and represent a unique opportunity to purchase from Australia’s most loved brand.

“We are beyond excited to bring back the legendary Wayville Sale to the Adelaide community,” said R.M.Williams CEO Paul Grosmann.

“R.M.Williams rarely provides discounts but the sale at the Adelaide showground is an acknowledgement of Adelaide’s unique contribution to the R.M.Williams story as its historic home and centre of manufacturing and distribution.”

The brand’s origins are deeply tied to South Australia, R.M.Williams Chief Operating Officer Tara Moses said.

“Not only is our original workshop at Percy St, Prospect on the tug of every boot, our bestselling leather boots and belts are still crafted by hand in Adelaide, alongside an ever-growing range of apparel, accessories and lifestyle products.”

“As the brand continues to expand globally, we see the Wayville Sale as an opportunity to say thank you to the local community where our team and operations are based,” she said. 

R.M.Williams is committed to manufacturing in Australia, with more 400 people employed in the Adelaide workshop and Distribution Centre.

In the nearly four years since Tattarang purchased the company, R.M.Williams has doubled its production space at the workshop in Adelaide and created more than 350 new jobs across the country.
