Tattarang today announced an investment in NodeOne, a Western Australian fixed wireless and NBN provider.

NodeOne is Western Australia’s largest fixed wireless provider, with network coverage in Geraldton, the Mid West, Bunbury and the Perth metropolitan area. The company now has more than 50 fixed wireless points of presence, providing network coverage to over 2 million people in Western Australia.

Tattarang Chief Investment Officer John Hartman said the group was proud to invest in a WA company that had significant upside.

“NodeOne has proven to be a technology leader and we see great potential in their ongoing expansion. We’re confident they will continue to win market share,” Mr Hartman said.

“Until recently the telco sector has been dominated by the NBN so we’re excited to be investing in a disruptive service.

“We are also particularly pleased to support a business that started in regional Western Australia.”

NodeOne was founded in 2009, having been the first fixed wireless company to introduce 100Mbps download speeds in 2014, and speeds greater than 500Mbps in 2018.

CEO of NodeOne, Richard Whiting, said the company was well positioned to continue its rapid growth. “Tattarang’s investment will allow NodeOne to further develop our network and expand our offering into the WA business market, providing big business speeds at small business prices,” Mr Whiting said.
